It had the potential to be a real action-packed stunner, but the visual style didn't work. Personally I'd blame the dull colour scheme and the cell shading (?).   added on the 2008-08-03 02:44:15 by Wade   Playpsyco are obviously very talented and technically are at the top of their game. However... I'm afraid to say that I didn't enjoy this alot. I think it suffers from the same problem that mupe had, that is, too much saturated colors and too much blur (ok I can see the irony there myself :-)). The progression also doesn't seem to lead to anywhere. If you think about it it is a rehash of the millions of claustrophobic industial fly-by demos produced over the past 10 years. Reminded me a bit of the latests demos by cocoon, although cocoon does that type of demos with a bit more finesse. I also got the impression that the transitions were forced a bit, with the framerate going up and down while scenes are changing. Bland particle effects BUT best FOV effect ever. Music is just there doing its thing, not very memorable but quite fitting.
