Another well done demo by Waterlogic with a very nice soundtrack. Unluckily it doesn't run on most modern gfx adapters (Vesa problem). I'm not sure, but 'The Scene 96' was probably the last real demoparty in Singapore.

Pretty decent for '96.
And I'm amazed that there were even demoparties in singapore.

Yep, great to see this demo again after years. And the soundtrack is just amazing :)

The first thing that grabbed my attention was the country of origin: Singapore! Unusual to say the least.

The next thing that surprised me was the date: 1996! Damn fine for it's time. Pretty decent today too. And the music ain't yer usual shite.

Win32 version + sources here

I must say that this is some excellent software rendering... In 1996 this was world class.

As a demo it's not that interesting... Not too many scenes/effects, and the music doesn't really fit to the stuff on screen... But hey, in the mid-90s it was all object shows anyway :)

Shit!! There are scene people from Asia? I HAVE to ask my friend if he by any chance has heard of WL!!

Meanwhile, this is one of the many PC demos with majestic sound yet let down by crappy visuals... charms with its very unique chillout club soundtrack.

But visuals? Too much empty space and stock'ish photos...

But I liked the 3D motion blur which would have been done by God in 1996, but that effect was raped to death 10000 times by the game industry (I call this the Lost Decade in realtime graphics: 1995-2005, when the industry was rushing just to be 3D but ending up with a shitload of Rush Hours because the technology just wasn't ready yet)

This demo really impressed me when it came out, but it felt more like a technology demo than a demo somehow.
