I appreciate the concept, but watching a voxelscape for 4 minutes is a bit much. Oh well, it's still more interesting than the intros released at Dialogos, for instance.

a fresh idea. i think it works
well. but the graphics look a bit rough and blocky. some aliasing would have been great.

but other than that good work folks.

conceptual [yeah!] but only one (good) and too long effect [booh!].
anyway, music sounds good for me.
who say haujobb's demos are all the same? :)

Well, I didn't like this at all. My eyes now hurt! Ouch...

macaw, NOTHING seems to work on your setup :)

macaw: i haven't seen this prod, but some HJB prods seem to be updating with the OnPaint message, and that doesn't happen in XP if you don't do something else.
Try moving your mouse or keep a key pressed. It worked for me on Estrange under XP

Didn't like this one :|. Too simple, and to my taste, ugly. We miss satori!

For stuff to work in macaw's computer, you can only use flatshaded cubes O:)

flåd, thanks it worked.

this intro is quite nice, though they should have made more background effects.

Boy... this one is REALLY ugly! ;)

Woah... what happened here??
This is truly, erhmmm... (no comment)
P.S. I enjoyed your other prods very much, but this one does not at all fit my tastes.

it works, but too bad it's on a vortex on intro-long.. but considering it was made at the party place.

otoh crack is not working very well on me.. (vortex?)

i mean it works, but could have been a lot better if not used only on that voxel landscape.

Ugly ugly ugly.
I wonder why someone would ever write something like this and actually release it.

Way cool! Can't you people see that this is an expression of art? This intro is not trying to impress with smooth graphics, but rather with concept.

The best I can describe this is as 'experimental'. The (intentional) skips ruin (imho) the otherwise very good music. Also it made me remember my CGA 4 color era. Finally, flad, thanks! Your tip helped me see this demo, and the Lobotomia 2 too. Macaw, we seem to have the same problems with haujobb prods.

All in all, for very delicate tastes :-)

Ugh, my eyes and ears do hurt.

This was a well executed mess, I'd say. Design and stuff was there, it was just wrong for me. It all seemed like a self-advertisement, too. Dunno.

for some reason "expressions of art" always look like shit to me. this sound sounds like shit too. no disrespect, it's just not something I can like. oh and btw: xhale even said at the partyplace that he thought it was cool when someone said "is there something wrong with the display?". so hopefully he will find this comment cool too :)

do you know why it was cool when that person said that? because the aesthetics of this intro are the aesthetics of disfunctionment: elevating bugs/errors to the level of intention/art.

errors makes us human

look at xhale's webpages and you'll know it wasn't a bug ;-)

very interesting one, reminds me of satori stuff. more background f/x would sure be nice, and the texts 'it hurts, please make it stop' etc., that were (I guess) meant to emphatize the message, actually weaken it instead (for me at least).. the text 'it looks so sweet, I feel just fine' would fit much better.. 8)

does it really feel like 4 minutes? it's not even 3 minutes.
