The recent 256b Twister "war" on C64 intrigued me to point of trying a similar effect, a rubber, in 256 bytes in JavaScript. Hope you like it.

/!\ the effect looks a bit different in Firefox :\

For some reason I get a row of colored pixels in IE.
Works fine (except for the slightly off colors) in Firefox.

it even looks a bit motion blurred, but that may have something to do with my pc and all the stuff I've got running in the background right now :-)

mmmh, I wrote it in 9.5 beta. Will look into that, but that might be tricky to fix.

cruzer: Go ahead, I'd love to see a 256b rubber on C64

I love twisters, they are my favourite effect.
Would it have been possible to add fake light sourcing in 256 bytes?
It's a really easy effect to add, just measure the distance between each two points. This would be extra cool if it had lightsourcing :)

what now ? :p

Quite a few bytes are "wasted" in calculations, tests and assignments that are pretty much the same but in a different order.

o_O just checked in Fx3b2. It's slow as hell but there's a gradient on the borders making for a beautiful-ish lighting effect :D
