Moah, only useful for some converting operations... painting with it makes a pain in the ass...
yeah, tried it.. the blurring tool was nice. but the interface was impractical. the commercial rainbow had the same problem.. the small work area.
If you want to fuck up your mind, use this one.
One of the numerous attempts at having a decent painting program on the Falcon.
Mine (Rembrandt) was not much better :)

Dbug: I Will add it soon ;)
I wish I still had a copy of my own attempt at making a decent painting program on the Falcon.
Mine was called Artifact. I wrote it in GFA with a couple of inner loops in ASM. The UI was minimalist : a simple toolbar 16px tall at the top and a palette/swatch underneath. It was meant for true color images, and had a few blending modes such as lighten and darken making shading a tad easier. It also had a basic magnifying glass spliting the screen in half vertically with the usual 2-4-8-16 zoom ratios. There was no UI (yet) to load/save but it was possible via some weird key combination. It had the uber ugly Falcon classics such as rectangle and circle with gradient, but it focused on free hand drawing.

People never gave it a chance, they saw the silly stuff like fractals & didn't give it a proper go. The block functions are great with the logical operations ADD, SUB, AND, OR etc - make good logo fx easily with those if you are not a complete tool. The definable grid & definable block box make sprite & tile making a dream. Colour box is great, RGB filter & adjust. Small work area?! Use the main drawing screen if you want to draw big, use the zoom studio! RTFM! ;) There are features in this proggy that current PC apps could do with implementing. It's a shame only 2 people really used it to it's potential. Oh yes, before I forget, Fuck Pouet.
