Very good and colorful graphics, excellent coding and playable preview. I'll be waiting for a version with score table.

yes
looks very promising!
Great stuff!!
I've been following this project for a long time, and I must say that it is amazing! The graphics look great and the ball-physics is really well done.
Kudos to WVL for sticking with it!

Superb Grafix and *playable*, what can you want more from a flipper?
sweet! :)
*Nearly* the best pinball on c64, imho.
It played surpricingly well.
Awesome!
ripped content
Raimo, it's supposed to be the C64 port of an existing game, so it obviously have "copied content".
Or did you meant something else by "ripped" ?

great game and lol@raimo
WELL ripped content, you want to say.
Well done! Feels very much like the Amiga version. And great UFLI intro pic. But the bg gfx should have been UFLI too. :o)
Whoa.
Well ripped content, but why the worst table of the game first? Works as a teaser I guess. :)
Unbelievable how the manage to squeeze more and more out of that old and beloved commodore 64 . Can there be Higher limits ?
My thump is up!
My thump is up!
unbelivable !!!
Yeah
Awesome GFX and all!
I don't really like the idea of cover versions winning song contests.
Then again, this has been in the making for years (with public betas available) and I think it's pretty cool that they keep working on it.
So, you guys get your thumb whenever the game is actually finished. :)

raimo: you're a pathetic looser, you dont have the slightest idea of the work behind this.
so the "no previously released material in the compo"-rule doesnt apply to this project, which has had several previews released?
gfx++;
Wow, just wow.
This looks really great, please finish this game!

Nice to see that people still do creative stuff on c64.
lol@raimo for the moronic comment of the month
what really impressed me was the physics of the ball
the rest is good, looks good and sounds good
keep the good work guys :)

slummy: as long as previews are just that, there's no problem with me. the rule is there to prevent people from entering the same thing in different compos again and again; this is the first release on a demoscene party, enough for me.
amazing work!
btw: f*#kings to the screen-team (NOT bitbreaker!) who showed this entry ~20 seconds and omitting the second table!

what slummy said. still it deserves a thumb ofcourse!
Oswald: and you're an AOL speller and therefore lose at the internet.
Nice stuff, but slummy and raimo have leading :|

toxie: it was played by WVL (i think) himself, who just played that one ball then left.
this was scary to the deepest level... 64ers owned the game compo really hard \o/
Only entry in the game compo I managed to see, but I bet this still is a worthy winner.
Ryg : not true, I actually played both levels, but only the first got shown. (they left Nightmare out, even while it was recorded). You could even see the decrunch of the nightmare level during compo, but it was cut short :)
Anyway, I _always_ claimed that I would compete in the BP06 game compo, so nobody would have to be surprised I competed..

very impressive
Well, considering last year we had 'ripped content' winning as well - tho that was impressive as well... and yeah most of us have known this was coming out. I wanna see it final, sure. And I don't have a problem with it winning against the compition it was up against. But if it had won OVER something stunning, then I'd complain.
So yeah, slummy and raimo have a point but I think I'd rather stress the 'this category could use some more clever entries' part.

simply awesome. eagerly waiting for the final.
Great graphics and ball physics. Quite well done conversion!
Respect!
fuckin' ace!
should I say something about making it work on AmigaOS 4.0 ? NO! great stuff :)
ripoff. the demoscene is supposed to be creative. i really can't understand why something as 100% uncreative, unoriginal and obviously unfinished as this can win a compo at any decent party.
Because making it possible on a C64 needs a LOT of creativity codewise...
Nice work on the code - great port of the original! I was blown away with how smooth the scrolling was. My only complaint is the intro tune (originally called "light of day" by Olof Gustafsson) Regardless of SID limitation, it does not contain the correct chords (especially sus chords, which are so important; you can appegiate them without the tonic note BTW) and has "approximate" notes in parts of the bass line and melody. I'm sure you'll fix this in later versions - if you want a full breakdown track me down & email me and I will happily point out where the tune is slightly incorrect :-) Good luck!
one word: amazing.
LOVE IT
no thumb from me yet?
Absolutely impressive in terms of playability, gfx, physics, and just generally running so smooth. What is the status of the project, btw?
I've played this just once again and I'm still impressed... when new tables? Or any update?
That's a damn impressive conversion.
No thumb yet?
Shame this seems dead by now :/

gotta thump this
Cool and what ninjadrm said!
does anybody have the source of this ?
:)
the c64 would have deserved its own version :/

Obvious thumb up.
awesome.
That's really !! :O
Really nice :D
The preview rocks hard. Great work!
Have it ever been finished or even seriously planned to be driven to the final?

Would be very pleased to see the complete game. This preview rocks! Come on, man, finish it! :)
I wish C64 version had as much luck as the Amstrad version. Love the c64 music here.
Looked very very promising. Sad, that it never got a full release so far. Could be a superb full-game on the C64 with different tables.
