it's quite good, but, the video and big samples are a little not welcome :)
fucking cool demo. i don't really like the typo's, but the rest is great great. video in demos is the next step forward, anyway.
Of course... pure demos should be realtime calculated :)
But also demos are pieces of design.
This one nicely combines videos with typical demo-fx. I bet we will see similar ones in this year.

im just happy they finally kicked the jgirls thing and did a proper demo. bet your 15 year old jap nerd computerkid fans are disapointed though hehe.
best inf demo imo. keep up the spirit are+tomka =)

very good demo. It's the best prod of the Mekka imo.
I love this demo!!! The best INF production so far, and good for non-sceners to watch also. The music BTW is by a Japanese guy called "Cornelius". He has sold millions of Albums over there, and the latest (best) one is called "Fantasma". I think this demo is great though, even if it does use a commercial track. Well done INF. (Oh yeah, I much prefer your 2d girls to the 3d ones).
my 2c: I enjoyed this a lot BUT- This dropped tons of frames at certain parts, and I have a 1.2 ghz w/ ATI radeon 64ddr and 512K ram.... not a wimpy system. Remember the days when demos were optimized so they would run at 30 fps (24 for you european types) _STEADY_ on a 7 mhz amiga? What system was this developed on? A 1.7 ghz P4!?
Not that I have (or prolly could) do any better. And the sync w/ music made for a overall excellent demo. This ones more about style than hardcore code (most of the effects in here could be replicated in Winamp AVS....) Again, gripes aside, I liked this one, not your usual boring 3ds viewer.

blame yer radeon for a crappy fps.. 8]
Smash your Radeon, and buy GeForce 2. I have Celeron700 and Gf2MX and this demo runs absolutelly smooth in 800x600x32 :))) This is very cool demo :))
this prod gives me hope for the future of demos ...
a masterpiece

WEY!!!!!!!!TMK!!!!!!!!!YOU EVIL BITCH!

TMK's graphics is again stunning, although an unusual style this time. The music is a bit special, and suffers a lot from the compression (64Kb/sec MP3). Amazing code once again by Kravitz. Impressive demo by INF. Should've won at Mekka.
ok. maybe there's something seriously wrong with me, but i miss the jap girls actually...
Great 'zik, a good overall of the demo ....
For sure these guyz are good !!!
Luv'it, Use it, Watch it !!

well, this demo kinda rocks alot ;) and not to mention tmk's art.. not many asian chics this time but he had sneaked in a couple of the anyway =)
Bow down to the masters! I never really liked INF's demos extremely, and I was a little cynical when I went through the downloads of MS2K1. Boy, was I suprised...
This is a demo with brass balls, ladies and gents. It oozes coolness. The style tmk adopted for his gfx is a great atmosphere setter. Begone, cutesy japanese girls! Let the aging diva take your place! =)

oh yes, one of the best demos of 2001 so far. a million times better than inf's previous stuff. tmk's graphics rock, especially that huge scrolling painting.
a must see! :)
a must see! :)
It is wonderful!
I think that this DemoGroup performed good work.
Production was the best.

a great demo for sure!
I don't care of using VIDEO and "commercial" MP3 since it's well done, and here it's especially well done

the song remains the same...
Don't forget to download it. Great job.
who said you can't teach an old dog (=the norwegian demoscene) new tricks..? :) fucking awesome. kudos to inf.
Kickass! The music ROCKS!@ Actually, I burned the song on a cd and I got it in my car. Definitly one of the most addictive song I heard in a while ;]
The timing is very good, the design is excellent, the effects are nice and I love the camera parts.

Cool, especially on the artistic side... Definitely one of the best demos from 2001. :-)
i was surprised when i saw this the first time. It has the quality of a "real" musicvideo.
I love this demo ! I love japan ! I love Japanese girls wearing their uniform !
puropaganda RULEZ !

Nice effects, nice gfx, great music and design.
WoW ! A great and true demo (ok, some videos here end there, but eh..).. don't forget to dl it as soos as possible
and... soon
OK.
OK.
this is fun - disney couldn't have done much better not so long ago - yes fond memories of Spot (1) the original - nicely encapsulated in this clever update.
(wups please ignore the above comment that was meant for the Spot demo) - yes propoganda has the music, the sync and colourful images haha - yes i stick my thumb up too
great!! for me the best prod of Symposium 2001
Demo itself is quite cool but no rulez because music ripping sucks.
"now is the time to change your state of mind"
"the use of video and ripped music sucks a lot."
If you ask me it's one of the best demos of all time
great
and once again
rulez...
!
Roulaise!
yes. yes. YES.
One of my alltime favourite demos, I really love it! Read the making of this demo soon in PAiN !!
Only fractalgp said it clear: I SHOULD HAVE WON.
When you think it can't do more, they do it more, and you are still saying to yourself: "What the f*ck?".
Amazingly paced, perfectly composed, wonderfully designed and impecable execution, can you ask for more?

Video clip + code = Great Visual !
Uh, can't believe I hadn't commented anything. Anyway, it rules, it rules a LOT. Even though my 8-year old little sister didn't like it. :-P
nice led zeppelin riff you ripped there :/
I liked Love Creation MAX a bit better because Propaganda's feels like a random "spur of the moment" thing than something with a solid idea. The J-rock track pulls everything together into a great show, and I loved the long art scroller thing
you guys rembered me to buy a CD from the Band "Cornelius". Also dem Demo looks very nice. I Like the Style and the effects
haven't commented this one? INF made a real rulzor here! Bestestest ever.
A very great production. Much loved.
Read the Making of Propaganda in PAiN 0702, get it at http://pain.scene.org
Else, I simply LOVE this demo!!
Else, I simply LOVE this demo!!
I realy like this demo nice one !!!
Err...
I watched it AGAIN, just to find out what this hype is all about (and in order to advoid an unjustified comment which could result in another pointless pouet-flamewar(TM)). Although I just started to like it a little, I cannot overcome the feeling that this one's utterly overrated. It's basically a demo with music video appeal such as 'state of mind' and 'vip2'. Very good graphics, the design elements make sense, music... err.. no.
And I just wonder: Where are the mandatory "ripping music SUX" comments? :)

ripping music SUX!
Ok, it has ripped music, but it has such an impressive overall.
Pure eyecandy!
Pure eyecandy!
heh, I was right. There's an interview with INF in a PAiN diskmag some months ago
quite original and stylish - especially music. somehow music fits demo very well (its rare when a vocal track and not electronic one at that is integrated well within demo).
cool indeed but after this one i went for that one. and you know, i felt so much better being among friends but i will give a spare thumb for propa too.
One of my all-time favourites
Not a boring moment in this one, it`s great!
Ripped music, ripped graphics from a video clip by Namie Amuro ("dreaming i was dreaming")...
Anyway... demo rox
Anyway... demo rox
Wow, how did I ever miss that? Great, even though it wasn't all real-time :)
RULES! extremely good soundtrack!
so good demo sucks !
This demo is really creative and has some impressive technical effects for its time. But, it seems unpolished, which is preventing this demo from being great. The music doesn't stay sync'd with the visuals! Disabling vsync seems to help but doesn't completely solve sync problems. Running WinXP SP1, GeForce2 w/ Det 45.23.
Yeah, should've won :)
Looked so great on the bigscreen.
Looked so great on the bigscreen.
rul0r
wow! perfect. very nice.
One of the best!
inf's finest moment! this demo is awesome :)
Yeah Cartman, this kicks ass!
Cant beat the feeling :) Music roxx !
Not bad :)
very stylish! cool
It rocks like a little squirrel would rock if it could. And swings like the said little squirrel would if it had a swing.
They manage to pull off a video demo in a reasonable filesize. I had to watch it twice; the first time the music ran at half-speed, took me half the demo to realize it :D
this is my single favourite demo ever. good design, good use of commercial music, good integration of video and 2d art, and just lots of nice looking effects.
Check it out!
Check it out!
infs best demo, still solid as hell (and still slowish in some parts ;)
omfg O_O
Fucking sweet.
just rocks
liked it
Unforgettable.
still one of my favourites. excellent style. best ripped soundtrack ever.
skrebbel said it all, have to thumb this up !
this is a really cool demo. it rocks. love the design and music.

great style and concept!
straight forward. luv it!
Nice use of video.
this is PROPA-GANDAAAA!!
Eh? Haven't I voted about this one before?!?
what optimus said
Extremely cool mix of realtime effects and video sequences. Great artwork by TMK as usual. Rocks.
huch?
I never rated this! this demo is actually supergreat. I like it to this day and I like videos in demos!

thumb!
Aesthetically, this production is absolutely stellar. The blend of video and effects is outstanding. There's also some great 2d art (the scrolling painting), and stylish elements. But.... what is up with the music? Am I the only one who found it absolutely atrocious? Maybe I'm just a bit groggy right now ;)
Have I commented this prod yet?
Anyway, rawks, even if it's commercial music...
Anyway, rawks, even if it's commercial music...
awesome
I enjoyed the show. Indeed. Nice mix of realtime graphics and videos.
I was very much in doubt.... Had I seen this in 2001, I might have voted differently. But I'm not dure. What I AM sure of, is that I hate the use of clearly commercial music - also, the mixing with video material is not my cup of tea. But the effects in between are cool enough, so here's a biggie-piggy for you.
Here's my thumb :)
What the christ? I never thumbed this up!? Awesome and the demo that acquainted me with Cornelius, who is awesome!
yes!
Oh hell yeah!
Made Me Laugh :D
すごいだゾ!
respect !
MASSIVE.
I've been searching for this for ages and finally found it by hunting through all the win32 prods. Truly awesome production from beginning to end, of course the catalyst is the music, but the artwork and mixes between effects are also supreme.
Still one of my fav :D
yep this one owns, and lasts the test of time, rock on baby! :)
This Rules, forgot to thumb up this one.
Kravitz wanted me to write down a recipie for pancakes here, but it's too much to write so the thumb is probably enough..
YES!
bad mp3 quality, videos, boring.
naaah...
Why don't they do stuff like this anymore ;)? The music has a very interesting feeling and the overall style is awesome. Though, I can understand why some sceners don't like this. It's not your typical demo style.
RULEZ!!!
Awesome, stylish ftuff.
Awesome, stylish ftuff.
nice
strange demo, didn't make me press esc, but also it never makes me watch it again. there are some really popular achievements in it, but this fact doesn't make it more interesting. so just a pig
Fantastic.
still going strong.
the qt labs blog reminded me to thumb this one up :)
abs nice stuff!
Very good.
Attitude!
Still rockin' in 2012.
Rockstars
I liked it a lot, and still like it today :D
classic.
nice one.
Stylish demo
Gloom liked this 13 years ago, even though I have the feeling this prod didn't age well - the drawings stood out for me - together with the Cornelius track.

16 years... gosh.. still supercool demo.
impressive even today.
Looks good, sounds good and still highly watchable.
