the final (to the best of my knowledge) release of the 3.x series of protracker.
based on protracker 3.61 by tom beyer/osiris. pattern loading, xpk decrunching and y2k bug fixed by jan poruba a.k.a. ttl/legion.
3.61 was released in august '96, the next two fixes in october '97 and september '98. the release date of the y2k fix is unknown.

the 3.x series were started by cryptoburners by releasing the horribly buggy 3.00 beta. tom beyer's 3.30 was based on the bugfixed 3.15 by cryptoburners.

personally i never got into the 3.x versions much, i was disgusted with 3.00 beta when i got it and kept using 2.3 until i finally switched to pc and ft2.

In my first Amiga years (Ecs only never had AGA) I used Startrekker. Wasn´t aware of PT ,but later I used PT 3.15 and I was quite happy with it. No complaints about it ,and it had /has more functions. In special I remember the sample offset fx (9xx) which wasn't available in Startrekker (at least not in my version).

PT was the ruler of the AGA period.

My favourite was Cryptoburner's 3.52, but it's PROTRACKER \:D/

Used for several tunes i did in the old days. Most likely one of the few programs on Amiga that needed to be y2k fixed, and that deserves a thumb alone........

Using this one atm. I like the 2.x GUI more, but this one is more functional. Sadly, it freezes when run from my workbench environment. I have to do a clean boot to run this shit :)

My fav was 3.15 like some others already stated. There is also PT4.00 Beta available, seem to have lots of cool features like 8ch mode but most of them are "not yet implemented". Protracker rulez, best tracker ever IMHO.
