m3ent0r: I didn't mean just do diss you. All I wanted to say was that with today's hardware I want more than this in a demo. The graphics was so poor I almost weept, It feelt like an insult to all people making graphics. :-D Even if you use CGA you could make it look better without spending too much time ( as in a couple of minutes ).
This is a really fast party prod, ok, but still. A demo that runs on todays hardware that looks even worse than a c64 demo can only recive a thumb down from me.
Don't see the critics as a negative thing, get motivated to learn more and instead try to make better demos. As long as we try, we learn.
Good luck, and I hope to see new demos from you in future that shows us a little more design and more interesting effects! :-)

I have nothing to do with this demo :-P

Seriously.

At the night before the party, me and M3nt0r were talking about ReAct. I said to him that we could make a good demo at the partyplace (something that some other groups also did - almost). Well, i said as in "theory", but M3nt0r liked it :-). So while being at the partyplace, he wanted to write a demo.
But i was terribly bored (the trip from Athens to Patras and the fact that i slept only five hours at the night helped a lot to this) so i said to him that if he wants to do it, then he should do it all by himself.
Err, so he did so. Actually he wrote the demo with Optimus (and i think that this is the reason for the oldschool feeling(?) of the demo).
At the next day, i decided to write a small intro (in ogl) in order to present it a the democompo, and put M3nt0r/Optimus' prod to wild compo, but i wasn't able to finish it before the deadline. So the roles were reversed.
Now don't go and try to search for another N.B. prod since the demo was never shown. It was written for Linux and we had some, err, problems making it work at the compo machine. The "problem" solved by bringing another machine, but i've been told that they'll show it later. I'm still waiting :-P.
