Awesome! I may have found a new synth for my 4ks.

would be good if the code generator produced macros for the crt functions so that they could be easily replaced (eg: #define SIN sinf, etc.)

it would be nice to be able to add your own filters/oscilators some how (eg:could squeeze some bytes/performance with a different random function)

Will you be incorporating your voice synth to this?

1) I changed Buzzic so it does not use msvcrt and __ftol2 anymore.
2) I will not incorporate voice synth here since it can be easily done manually. Just place a call to SynthSpeech function after sound generation (but before playing) and remove redundant code.

Wikid. Thanks for this! Still figuring it out - but as e64 says, it'll probably be the synth in our next 4k prod.

Great sounds! But the GUI is rather unfriendly and feature-lacking. Thumbs for the whole audio engine&exporter, but work further on the GUI, musicians will love you for that :)

Musicians - tell me what do you want to see there and I'll try to do it. I do not see any "unfriendliness" in GUI. It is really simple but so is synth.
If you have any ideas on what should I change in GUI without chaning whole concept then you are welcome :)

Some very nice improvements. Any chance of adding LFOs and fine detune to the next version? :)

Well... Actually next version DOES exist :) But I will not release it in near time since it much more powerful than Buzzic 1.1 and I want to make some products with it.

Now I will make just minor changes in GUI if somebody asks me.

damn, can't remember how to do tunes with it anymore.. have to learn that again. Buzzic 1.0 tunes do not work with this version apparently, or did i do something wrong (?)

Buzzic 1.0 files are incompatible with Buzzic 1.1 (and vice versa). I had to change binary format because I added some new features (e.g. formant filter).

a long time i writing synthesizer and think it sequencer, buzzic with its byte-pattern concept in fact filed an excellent idea for my synthesizer, I really like the idea and the tool I'm going to port to pocketpc. wince.

New version of Buzzic 1.1 uploaded. It allows to copy and paste sequences block now. Also WAV export feature added.

Is this a newer version than 2.0? It may sound stupid but I guess I haven't spotted that wav export in 2.0...
