- Actually just a demo for the HP 200LX. I wanted to show that video can be shown in quite good quality on the 7 MHz / 8086 / MS-DOS 5.0 machine. Command line accepts a number as parameter which defines the number of extra loops to waste CPU. A good value for DOSBOX is around 12000. HP 100LX / 200LX users can run the shortlx.bat which reduces wasted CPU cycles to a minimum. generally also runs on a normal windows XP system, but way too fast and i dont plan to add more support for it as it was really just made as a bragging demo and screensaver for HP 100LX / 200LX machines or similar 8086 with monochrome CGA.
