We didn't already know anything about Way Out when we produced Scene::Visions. In fact, I'm now downloading to see it for the first time.
Our idea was to mix a simple story with some visuals, to produce some kind of augmented demo. The result was this party version. We have 6 or 7 scenes filmed but we hadn't time to edit and include them before the deadline.
I'm sorry to know that some people dislike our prod. We just wanted to do something simple and funny and share it with everybody to enjoy. |

| uf, it is quite short, but it has been very difficult to stand till the end. The "music" is quite unbearable. |

The effects are pretty simple and some of them are difficult to identify (without the explanation given on the signs it would be very difficult). Moreover, some of them are not really "human" effects as i think they pretend. I would have preferred more imagination instead of technology support, even with a poorer visual result.
The overall composition looks good, the final visual-appearance is quite refined. You have made a good job editing and mounting video.
All in all, I think it is good, but not so good to deserve thumbs up, in my opinion. |

Really High-Quality demo :). This demo represents a quality step beyond your past year's compo. If you continue this way you will reach the stars soon ;).
The best of this demo, for me, a uniform, complete and attractive design :). Good work! |

Nice technology development, nice work, but too simple composition, in my humble opinion, to deserve thumbs up.
I hope this effort will constitute the basis for a really-impressive future flash-demo |

| I completely agree with issac2: Really nice idea, but very bad development. Possibly, a better development would have resulted in a really impressive new kind of wild demo. I suggest thinking about it for next time. |

Really incredible amount of work. I had the opportunity to look at the technology behind this intro and it is really amazing!
For thouse of you in doubt: it is not kind of voxels nor another marching-cubes son. It is a real-time fluid simulation! In just 4kb!
Congratulations for your achievement, Issac2 :) |

The idea behind this wild is to parody scene and computer science in general, with respect to the missinformation of cinema producers.
If you look at this prod carefully, you will notice lots of effects we have embeded in it. We mainly used photoshop, 3ds Max, Adobe Premiere and Aftereffects.
For this final result we requiered almost 600h of work (counting on the hours of every member who contributed) in less than 15 days.
Our best reward is your smile :). Enjoy it! |
